Iran-US/Oman Indirect Talks: Efforts Continue in Vigor

PNN – Araqchi and his Omani counterpart met in Geneva, thus beginning the third round of indirect Iran-US talks.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, representatives of Iran and the United States have arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, to hold the third round of indirect nuclear talks between the two countries, mediated by the Sultanate of Oman.

Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who traveled to Geneva for the third round of Iran-US nuclear talks, met with Seyyed Badr Al-Busaidy, the Foreign Minister of Oman, on Wednesday night.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the two ministers discussed the latest developments and reviewed the views and proposals that the Iranian side will present to reach an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, based on the guiding principles agreed upon in the previous round of negotiations.

According to the Omani diplomatic service, Al-Busaidy is expected to meet with the American negotiating team this morning to convey Iran’s point of view and, in turn, listen to the ideas and proposals of the American side.

Indirect Iran-US talks will continue on Thursday with the presence of delegations from both countries.
