PNN – An Arab media outlet announced that Iran’s attack on the “Neut Hofuf” complex in the Negev targeted Israel’s strategic industrial infrastructure.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Palestinian Quds Network announced in a report that following an Iranian missile hitting the “Neut Hofuf” industrial complex in the Negev region in the southern occupied territories, a massive fire broke out in one of the complex’s chemical facilities, and reports of a leak of dangerous chemicals were published.

The missile hit the facilities of the chemical and agricultural company “Edma”, one of the world’s largest producers of agricultural products.

This complex is one of the most important centers of the chemical and petrochemical industry in Israel and includes the production and research and development centers of the company “Edma”.

Following the attack, widespread fires and the release of hazardous chemicals were reported, raising concerns about environmental consequences.

With dozens of production facilities around the world and currently owned by the Syngenta Group, Edma is a major player in the global agricultural chemical industry.
