Iran’s developments at the center of discussion between Iran’s ambassador and intellectuals of Belarus

Belarus

PNN – The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Minsk met with a group of thinkers and analysts in the field of foreign relations and representatives of political parties of the Republic of Belarus and discussed recent developments.

In this meeting, Alireza Sanei, while reviewing, explaining, and enlightening the recent developments in Iran, stated: These events took place in three stages.

He stated: The first stage included a peaceful and legal protest by the people, which, according to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was their right to peaceful protest, which was also approved by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Iranian ambassador to Belarus also noted the second phase of recent events: This process was diverted from its original course by the entry of some disruptive elements, organized terrorist and armed groups, and under the guidance of foreign enemies, and quickly turned into a scene of violence, chaos, and destruction of government and public property.

He continued: At this stage, terrorists and rioters, with the aim of causing death, attempted to murder and loot private and public property, and killed police forces, security guards, and ordinary and innocent citizens.

The Iranian ambassador to Belarus further stated: It seems that the United States and the Zionist enemy are trying to achieve their desired goals and compensate for the failure of their project by simultaneously applying political pressure from outside, through military deployment in the region and threatening our country with a military attack, and in the shadow of a hybrid war.

Sanei continued: Certainly, with the unity and empathy of the people and the strength of our country’s powerful armed forces, this time too, the Iranian nation will proudly pass this difficult stage.

In another part of the meeting, the Iranian ambassador to Minsk answered questions from attendees.

According to this report, Belarusian intellectuals, analysts, and representatives of political parties also expressed their regret over the recent events and sympathized with the people and government of Iran in their speeches at the meeting, on behalf of their respective groups and institutions.
