Iran’s political power versus America; Tehran is not looking for show negotiations.
Analysts believe that Iran, which has shown that it does not make quick and hasty decisions to reach an agreement in line with its interests, is acting in this round of negotiations based on the logic of reason, contrary to the wishes of the US President.
The Rai al-Youm newspaper wrote in a report on this matter: Iran previously held negotiations regarding its nuclear program during the peak of the power of the Resistance Axis, and in 2015, an agreement was signed between Tehran and Western countries, but in the end, then-US President Donald Trump abandoned it. It was after that that Iran’s nuclear program became more advanced and the percentage of uranium enrichment increased.
The Iranians have shown that they are patient in negotiations; this is while Trump loves quick agreements and if he cannot reach a quick agreement with Iran, he will no longer feel powerful. After the end of the first round of negotiations in Oman, Trump said that he felt that Iran was looking to buy time.
The factor of hurry and speed to reach a final agreement is not in the Iranian dictionary. They are not just looking for negotiations and media spectacle, but also want to reach an agreement in line with their interests.
Just as Trump uses a threat and maximum pressure approach against Iran during negotiations, Tehran also always emphasizes its military readiness to respond to any aggression. Previously, Zionist General Amos Yadlin had acknowledged that Iran’s nuclear program, unlike the nuclear programs of Iraq and Syria, is very powerful and stable, and that Iran’s nuclear activities are not concentrated in a specific place.
The imposition of indirect negotiations by Iran on the United States shows the strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
