PNN – The Iraqi political analyst described his country’s relations with Iran as historic and strategic.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’ulouma, Iraqi political analyst Saeed Al-Badri emphasized that the country has strong and strategic relations with Iran, and the American side is aware of the level and extent of these relations.

He added: Iraq cannot under any circumstances give up its historical and strong relations with Iran because this country is considered a strategic partner for Iraq.
Al-Badri clarified: Because the American side is aware of the magnitude of these relations, it is currently not prioritizing Iraq, and especially relations between Tehran and Baghdad.
He stated: Iraq has firm principles and is not moving towards normalizing relations with the Zionist regime, openly or secretly. The country’s constitution also prohibits using Iraq to invade its neighbors.
