Iraqi analyst: Direct US conflict with Iran would cost $58 trillion.
According to Al-Ma’ulouma, Iraqi political analyst Muhammad Ali emphasized that Iran’s leverage will prevent Washington from moving towards a military option even if negotiations with the United States fail.
He added: “The successful military operations in Yemen have made Trump more hesitant about engaging in conflict with Iran, North Korea, and China. The military option against Iran is unworkable and will not lead to desirable results.”
The Iraqi analyst emphasized that: “The Pentagon knows that the cost of any direct conflict with Iran will exceed $58 trillion, a staggering figure.”
He stated: “The US side will think about it a thousand times before taking this action.”
