PNN – An Iraqi security expert pointed to Iran’s advanced drones capabilities.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’ulouma, Iraqi security expert Adnan Al-Kanani emphasized that Iran’s drones have great power to target American interests in the region.

He added: These drones can hide themselves from American radars and are difficult to find.

Al-Kanani stated: Each type of Shahed drone has its own unique features. For example, Shahed 129 and 149 have advanced radars for imaging even in bad weather conditions, and Shahed 136, a suicide type, can hide itself from radars.

He clarified: The suicide mission of these drones is carried out based on GPS coordinates and an internal navigation system; meaning that it is programmed on a fixed target and moves directly towards it without the need to use radar during flight. The United States fears these drones, which could harm ships stationed in the region, because they are difficult to detect.
