PNN – An Iraqi security expert pointed to US pressure to prevent the country’s security forces from arming themselves.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’ulouma, Iraqi security expert Kazem Al-Juhayshi emphasized that the United States has imposed restrictions on the process of arming Iraqi forces and does not allow the country to sign arms contracts with other countries in the world.

He added: The fact that Iraq is not signing arms contracts with China is due to US pressure. This means that Iraq must obtain permission from the US in this regard.
Al-Juhaishi added: These restrictions are not limited to China, but include any country that the US does not agree with. Even the signing of the French arms purchase contract is done with the permission of the US.
It should be noted that the Zionist regime used Iraqi airspace during its aggression against Iran, which led the Iraqi people to demand that the government and parliament purchase the necessary military equipment to protect the country’s airspace.
