PNN – The Iraqi Foreign Minister announced the existence of some plans to expand the war zone of Gaza and Lebanon to other countries.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Al Jazeera, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussein said in a statement: Our duty is to increase diplomatic activities to deal with threats and possible aggression against Iraq.
He emphasized that his country, along with other countries, is trying to establish a ceasefire (in Gaza and Lebanon).
Fawad Hossein added: There are plans to expand the circle of war to other countries. Our foreign policy and diplomatic activity is based on dialogue, peace and soft power.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq recently wrote a letter to the “United Nations”, “Security Council”, “Cooperation Organization of Islamic Countries” and “Arab League” in response to the threats of the Zionist regime.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq also said in a statement on Saturday announcing the sending of these official letters to these international and regional institutions: In these letters, Iraq pointed out that the recent letter of the Zionist regime to the UN Security Council is part of the targeted policy of making excuses and making claims for the development of the circle of conflict in the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq has added that Iraq is one of the pillars of stability in the region and the world and is one of the countries that adheres to the principles of the United Nations Charter the most.
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that Iraq is determined to exercise restraint against using its skies to target a neighboring country.
The Zionist regime, without referring to the crimes committed in Gaza and Lebanon and the aggressions it has committed against the countries of the region, recently in a letter to the Security Council, implied that the attacks of Iraqi Islamic resistance groups on the occupied territories are an excuse to threaten Iraq and its development.
These claims of the Zionist regime faced a wave of political and official protests and Islamic resistance groups in Iraq, who pointed out that the basis of insecurity and war in the region is the presence of the usurping Israeli regime and the genocide that this false regime has committed against the Muslim people of Gaza and Lebanon.
The Islamic resistance groups in Iraq have emphasized on continuing their attacks until the war in Gaza stops and the usurping Israeli regime submits to the conditions of the resistance groups in Palestine and Lebanon.
