PNN – The Al-Nasr Coalition revealed the criteria that the “Coordination Framework” alliance has set for the next Prime Minister and announced that the Coordination Framework may finalize its preferred candidate this week.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Alsumaria News, the Al-Nasr Coalition stated on Sunday that it unveiled the characteristics required by the Coordination Framework for the future Prime Minister and indicated that the Coordination Framework could finalize its nominee within the current week.

Salam Al-Zubaidi, spokesperson for the Al-Nasr Coalition, said that the Coordination Framework adheres to the requirements and deadlines stipulated in the constitution for appointing the Prime Minister and is waiting for the final confirmation of parliamentary election results from the Federal Court so that legal procedures can commence and the new parliament can be convened.
Al-Zubaidi added that the Coordination Framework has designated this week for selecting the individual who will become the next Prime Minister, provided that the candidate is capable, takes domestic and regional conditions into account, possesses political and economic awareness, and genuinely represents Iraq.
These statements come as attention remains focused on the Federal Court’s confirmation of the election results, after which the practical process of forming the government will begin. According to the constitutional timeline in Iraq, the Federal Court must confirm the final results by the 25th of this month at the latest.
