PNN – An Iraqi parliament member criticized US interference in the country’s internal affairs.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Ma’alumah, Iraqi parliamentarian Muhammad Al-Khafaji emphasized on Sunday that the United States has no right to interfere in the country’s internal affairs or assume guardianship over it.

He added: America’s efforts to interfere in the activities of the Iraqi parliament and prevent the approval of the Popular Mobilization Forces law are a clear violation of our country’s sovereignty, which we firmly oppose.
Al-Khafaji emphasized: The Iraqi parliament has the right to approve the country’s laws, free from foreign pressure.
He stated: Iraq will never submit to American dictates, and the will of the nation and the legislative institutions of this country will be the only factor in charting the national path. National sovereignty is a red line that cannot be crossed.
