Iraqis’ anger over Turkish aggression; Ankara warns of worsening situation in Iraq.
According to Al-Ma’ulouma, an informed source announced that Ankara has ordered its forces not to enter Kurdish villages in northern Iraq because public anger in these areas has intensified against Turkish aggression.
The source added: Some Iraqi citizens have lost their lives following Turkish warplane attacks on Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk, which has increased public anger against Ankara.
He stated: Iraqi tribes and people have held demonstrations demanding an end to Turkey’s military presence in their areas. Ankara is currently concerned about the intensification of this public anger and the occurrence of clashes with its military elements in Iraq, and its proxies are on alert.
Turkish warplanes have long been violating Iraqi airspace without any hindrance and carrying out attacks on the country’s territory.
