Isaac Braik: Many Israeli soldiers no longer have the desire to fight.
According to Al-Mayadeen, retired Israeli army general Isaac Barak stressed that the Israeli soldiers are visibly tired and many of them no longer want to fight.
He added: “Our soldiers have lost trust in the prime minister and the political and military authorities.”
Barak added: “Netanyahu and Halevi are leading a war that has no prospects and they must resign. Halevi will not insist on his positions so that the authorities will be satisfied with him.”
Barak said: “We have not seen in previous generations the presence of officials who would leave 101 prisoners alone. Netanyahu released them based on narrow personal interests to maintain his position.”
