PNN – Ozgor Altun, a leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorist group, who was on the orange alert wanted list, was arrested on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Anatoli Agency, The Turkish National Intelligence and Security Agency (MAT) claimed to have arrested Ozgor Altun, the most important leader of the Islamic State group and a Turkish national, on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in a joint operation with the Pakistani intelligence agency.

Alton, who was on the Orange List of wanted individuals, was known by the organizational name “Abu Yasser al-Turki” and was responsible for ISIS’s media and logistics affairs.
According to security sources, Alton was responsible for organizing the transfer of ISIS members from Europe and Central Asia to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
He also played a key role in planning and executing terrorist attacks in Türkiye and Europe.
