PNN – Pakistan’s foreign ministry spokesman reiterated his country’s position in support of talks between the Yemenis and warned that bombing Yemen and retaliatory actions would complicate the situation in the region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Shafqat Ali Khan said in his weekly press conference in Islamabad today that Pakistan’s strategic plans are defensive in nature and this is an important part of the country’s deterrence.
He emphasized: Pakistan’s position on Israel is clear and we do not recognize this regime.

Responding to a question about the US and British aggression against the people of Yemen, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the bombing of the country and the subsequent retaliatory measures will further complicate the situation in the region.
He added that Pakistan supports the peace process and dialogue between the Yemenis to resolve the Yemen crisis.
Regarding the delegation’s trip to the occupied Palestinian territories, which included some Pakistani nationals, Shafqat Ali Khan said that the Pakistani government had no official knowledge of it and that we learned about the trip through the media.
He stated that there is no information available about the type of passports used by the Pakistani members of the delegation in their travels to the occupied territories (given that Pakistani passports prohibit travel to the occupied territories), and we are collecting information.
