Islamabad hosted the second Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations review meeting.

The Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson’s Office announced today (Friday) that a meeting was held to review bilateral relations with Iran and coordination between relevant ministries in Pakistan under the chairmanship of Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister, Deputy Foreign Minister, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, senior officials of the National Revenue Agency, and relevant ministries in Pakistan participated in today’s meeting.

In this meeting, ongoing cooperation in a wide range of sectors was reviewed, and ways to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Pakistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran were discussed.

In this meeting, the Pakistani Foreign Minister emphasized his country’s commitment to deepening engagement with Iran in key priority areas.

On December 16, a special meeting on Pakistan-Iran relations was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

On Sunday, December 20, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan discussed the development of bilateral cooperation and regional developments in a telephone call.
