Islamic Jihad: We must have guarantees to stop the war in Gaza

PNN – The Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said on Thursday morning about the ceasefire and prisoner exchange negotiations with the Zionist regime that we must have guarantees to stop the military aggression against Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Sama Palestine news agency, Mohammad El-Handi added: Most of the settlers are now in favor of signing the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners, and the second phase of this deal is currently under negotiation.

He said: We must have guarantees in the text of the agreement, including stopping the aggression on the Gaza Strip, because if Benjamin Netanyahu fails in the negotiations, he cannot be given the opportunity to continue the war.

The Deputy Secretary General of Islamic Jihad further stated that Netanyahu’s priority is to continue the war and not to recapture the prisoners, and added: Netanyahu wishes to achieve victory and does not want to stop the war and seeks to mislead everyone.

Al-Handi said: Now Netanyahu is avoiding and trying to buy time until his trip to the US Congress, and Washington is also unable to put real pressure on the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime during the presidential election period in this country.

The Palestinian resistance operation on October 7, which is known as the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation, has revealed the weakness and inability of the Zionist army more than ever.

This is despite the fact that more than 9 months have passed since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Gaza Strip without any results and achievements, this regime is sinking more and more into its internal and external crises day by day.

During this period, the Zionist regime has not achieved anything other than massacres, destruction, war crimes, violations of international laws, bombing aid organizations and imposing famine and starvation in this region.

The occupying regime has lost this war regardless of any gains in the future, and even after 9 months, it has not been able to make the resistance groups surrender in a small area that has been under siege for years, and the support of the world public opinion for committing open crimes in Gaza.
