Israel in the nightmare of air blockade.
The Yemenis, who, after Hezbollah in Lebanon, came to the fore as the second front of the resistance axis after the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in October 2023 to support the people and the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, and while the Zionist regime’s aggression and siege against this strip continued, have continued their operations against this regime, whether at the level of the naval blockade or missile and drone attacks deep into occupied Palestine, yesterday, with a major blow they inflicted on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, one of the main vital security and economic infrastructures of Israel, they created new equations in the conflict with the American-Zionist axis.
Yemen’s new equation with the air blockade against the Zionists
While the naval blockade imposed by Yemen against the Zionist regime for more than a year and a half has caused extensive economic damage to the regime, last night, Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced in a statement: In response to the escalation of the Israeli regime’s actions and the announcement of its decision to expand its aggressive operations against Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they intend to impose a complete and comprehensive blockade on the Israeli regime through the air and to implement this blockade by repeatedly targeting airports, especially “Lod” Airport, which Israel calls “Ben-Gurion Airport.”
The Yemeni Armed Forces also called on all international airlines to take the contents of this statement seriously from the moment it is issued and to cancel all their flights to the airports of the criminal Israeli regime to protect the safety of their planes and passengers.
To examine the importance of the comprehensive air blockade of Yemen against the Zionist regime, we must first note that a large part of the economic structure of the Zionist regime depends on air transport, including trade in goods and tourism, and millions of passengers travel annually, especially through Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
