Israel receives large shipment of US weapons for Gaza attack.
According to Al Jazeera Qatar, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Aharonot reported, citing informed sources, that the regime’s army will soon receive a large shipment of more than 3,000 types of special air force ammunition from Washington.
According to these sources, this shipment was sent with the approval of the Donald Trump administration and to strengthen the readiness of the Israeli Air Force to carry out a large-scale operation in the Gaza Strip.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) also confirmed this arms shipment to Israel, stating: The United States is committed to Israel’s security and assisting it is essential for us and in line with the national interests of the United States.
The Pentagon claimed: The sale of military equipment to Israel will enhance the regime’s ability to defend its borders, infrastructure and population centers.
The US Department of Defense also announced: The possible sale of arms to Israel will not upset the fundamental military balance in the Middle East region.
The Pentagon also announced that this arms sale will not require the deployment of American troops or personnel to Israel.
The US Department of Defense announced that the State Department has approved the sale of this package of military equipment to Israel, worth approximately $180 million.
The package includes engines used in the Eitan Power Pack unmanned aerial vehicle system.
