Israel trains British forces amid Gaza genocide.
British armed forces personnel have been trained in Israel since the start of the Gaza offensive in October 2023, according to reports on Thursday (November 27).
“Few British armed forces personnel have studied in Israel on staff training courses since October 2023,” British Defense Secretary Al Carnes said, according to Anadolu Agency.
The revelation came after a parliamentary question by Your Party co-founder Zara Sultana on November 18, according to Scottish newspaper The National. The MP asked the Ministry of Defense:
“Have British armed forces officers studied or trained in Israeli military colleges since October 2023?”
The report was first reported by investigative media outlet Declassified UK, which said it was not clear where the British troops trained or from which branches of the military they went to the occupied territories.
In September, the Zionist regime was banned from attending the Royal College of Defence Studies in England after then-Defence Secretary Vernon Rodney Cocker said the Israeli government’s decision to further escalate its military operations in Gaza was “wrong.”
Earlier this month, The Telegraph reported that the British military had specifically refused to attend a major international conference being organised by the Israeli regime to share a military perspective on the army’s war in Gaza.
According to the report, the British Ministry of Defence confirmed that despite the army receiving an invitation to a multi-day seminar south of Tel Aviv last week, it had been decided that no British officers or officials would attend.
