Israel withdraws from 2 neighborhoods in Gaza after 10 days of deadly fighting.
After ten days of deadly fighting with the resistance, the Israeli soldiers were forced to withdraw from the two neighborhoods of al-Tuffah and al-Darj in Gaza, but in retaliation for this defeat, they razed many residential areas to the ground.
“I spent five hours trying to find the walls of my house, but I couldn’t. I entered our neighborhood, the streets were full of bodies of martyrs that the tank had passed over. Muhammad al-Jazar says this; A man in his fifties with remaining black hair on his head is covered in dirt, who has returned to the al-Tuffah neighborhood in the northeast of Gaza.
Today (Saturday, January 6), the reporter of the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, a day after the withdrawal of the Israeli soldiers from the two neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah and Al-Darj in the east of Gaza, reached these areas and confirmed the extensive destruction, wrote that the operations of the military branches of Hamas and Jihad In these two neighborhoods, Islam had the most momentum and creativity compared to other areas of conflict with the enemy in the north of the Gaza Strip, and the evidence of that is the published videos of the confrontation with the occupiers in these two areas. But it must be said that the effects of the occupation’s crimes in these two neighborhoods are no different from other Palestinian areas from which the occupation has retreated, and all houses and infrastructure, including water, electricity, and sewage networks, have been razed to the ground.
On December 21, Israeli soldiers started advancing towards the two neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah and Al-Darj and brought their military equipment and tools into these two areas. But finally yesterday, Friday, after suffering heavy losses in deadly ambushes and precision shootings of the resistance and destroying dozens of military weapons, they were forced to retreat. Kataib al-Qassam announced on Friday that in the last 48 hours alone, it destroyed 20 Israeli vehicles and weapons in these two areas.
