Israeli Ambassador to the UN: Majority of Israelis Support Trump’s Plan.

According to Channel 13, the Israeli government’s TV channel, while the first round of negotiations between Hamas and Israel based on the plan of US President Donald Trump in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, is set to begin today with a very difficult path, Danny Danon, the regime’s ambassador to the United Nations, spoke about the plan from the Israeli perspective in an interview with Fox News this morning (Monday).

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations stated in this interview that the extreme right-wing parties in the cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are opposed to implementing the Trump plan, but this plan will have the support of the majority in the Knesset (Israeli parliament).

Danon also said: It is impossible to gain the support of all parties for this plan. However, most Israelis support this plan and demand the release of Israeli prisoners.

The Israeli official said: The release of prisoners is the first thing that will happen after the agreement is signed. He added: “The Hamas and Israeli delegations will negotiate tomorrow with the presence of mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Steve Whittaker, the White House’s special envoy for the Middle East, and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and special advisor, as US representatives in Egypt.”

However, the Israeli ambassador to the UN was not optimistic about the outcome of the negotiations, claiming that Hamas’s motives for agreeing to Trump’s plan were unclear and that there was a possibility that the negotiations would fail.

He added: “If the negotiations fail, we must put the hardest possible pressure on Gaza so that we can release our prisoners.”

Danon made these statements and blamed Hamas for the possible failure of the upcoming negotiations, while the Israeli Channel 12 TV revealed that Netanyahu would not adhere to ending the war after the release of Israeli prisoners and would not agree to a complete withdrawal from Gaza.

Tel Aviv has also informed Washington that it intends to establish itself in three areas of Gaza, including the Salah al-Din axis, in the coming years and will never withdraw from these areas.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu stated yesterday (Sunday) in a meeting with the “Tikva” association belonging to the extreme right-wing parties of the Zionist regime that he will not adhere to any of the clauses of the Trump plan until all Israeli prisoners are released.

Analysts say that Netanyahu intends to violate the agreement after the negotiations and the release of Israeli prisoners and continue the war in the most severe possible form.
