Israeli analyst: Internal crises have brought the regime to the brink of collapse

PNN – A Zionist analyst, referring to the internal situation of the Zionist regime, warned that the regime is facing a series of security, economic, and social crises that have placed it at its lowest level since its formation and the beginning of the occupation.

According to the Hebrew-language newspaper Ma’ariv, Ephraim Ganor wrote in an article that after two years of war, the security situation has deteriorated, governance has been disrupted, and the personal security of residents has decreased.

He criticized the performance of the cabinet headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, describing it as “lacking effective leaders,” adding that the government has failed to provide a serious response to the rising cost of living, the reconstruction of northern settlements and areas surrounding the Gaza Strip, the decline in the quality of education, and the increase in traffic fatalities.

Ganor also accused the Israeli cabinet of focusing on creating a narrative about the October 7 attack instead of addressing domestic crises.

According to him, the cabinet is continuously trying to provide the ground for religious extremists to escape military service, which, in his words, has resulted in “creating a government within a government” and imposing heavy costs on Israeli settlers.

This Zionist writer criticized the performance of the cabinet’s opponents, stating that the opposition appeared “weak and even passive” in the face of these conditions, and instead of mobilizing public opinion and taking effective political action, it was content with only issuing statements and promises.

He continued, referring to the approaching legal date for the upcoming elections, and emphasized that it was expected that at least two new party movements would take shape with a new approach to creating change.

According to Ma’ariv, some observers are suggesting that the party affiliated with Naftali Bennett is one of the likely candidates in the polls, but so far there has been no sign of this movement presenting a new vision.

Ganor concluded by warning that the indifference of a significant portion of the Israeli population to the existing crises could have serious consequences for the future of this regime.
