Israeli analyst: The war is over, the attack on Rafah is nothing more than an illusion.

According to the Palestine Information Center, an Israeli military analyst emphasized that the last large-scale ground attack of the Zionist regime army was in Khan Yunis. Since then we have not seen large-scale ground attacks in the Gaza Strip.

“Avi Iskharov” emphasized: “So stop giving us the illusion of the necessity of continuing the war, the war is over, but they forgot to inform us.”

He said: Rafah is nothing more than an illusion and they are threatening to attack it to sell us the idea of “absolute victory” which will not solve anything after the war in Gaza.

On the other hand, Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Commission, on Tuesday, by adopting demagogic positions, opposed the planned military operation of the Jerusalem occupation to Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, which is full of 1.4 million Palestinian refugees.

According to this media, this European official said in a debate held by Politico in Maastricht, Holland: It is completely unacceptable that Israel attacks Rafah.

The head of the European Commission, nominated for the second term of this tenure, said that the situation there is unbearable and unacceptable, referring to his visit to the city of Rafah.

Answering the question of whether the attack on Rafah would be a red line, von der Leyen said: I never draw a red line, but I think that if Netanyahu (Prime Minister of the occupying Zionists) attacks, it is completely unacceptable.

In addition, “Antonio Guterres”, the Secretary General of the United Nations, announced in a speech that after nearly 7 months have passed since the events of October 7 last year, the situation of the residents of Gaza is getting worse day by day.

Guterres said: I ask the Israeli cabinet and the leaders of Hamas to reach an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of prisoners. I ask Israel’s allied countries to convince Israel not to conduct ground military operations in Rafah.

He continued: The attack on Rafah has devastating effects on the Palestinians in Gaza and dangerous consequences in the West Bank and the entire region.

The Secretary General of the United Nations added: Attacks on convoys and humanitarian facilities and people in need are not allowed. I ask the Israeli cabinet to speed up the process of the arrival of aid to Gaza and ensure the security of the accompanying convoys, including UNRWA.

Guterres continued: “An independent investigation must be carried out regarding the newly discovered mass graves in Gaza.” The war has destroyed the health system in Gaza, and some hospitals in this strip now resemble cemeteries.

The UN Secretary-General said: There is a plan to implement the recommendations of the prepared independent report on UNRWA. I ask the member states and donor parties to provide the necessary funding to continue UNRWA’s work.

In the end, Guterres claimed: We adhere to action to reach a solution based on the end of the occupation and the establishment of a livable Palestinian state.
