Israeli army might collapse as the war of attrition against Gaza continues.

Following the protests of the regular and reserve forces of the Israeli army against the continuation of the attrition war in Gaza, which has been accompanied by widespread casualties for the Israeli military since March, and coincides with the resumption of the war against the Strip, the Hebrew newspaper Ma’ariv reported, quoting Israeli military personnel, that the Israeli forces are extremely dissatisfied with the war policy of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet and are concerned that this policy will lead to the collapse of the army.

The war against Gaza continues without a goal

The Ma’ariv newspaper reported that dissatisfaction within the ranks of the Israeli army and the depth of the crisis arising from the issue of the exemption of the Haredis from compulsory military service are increasing.

A number of Israeli military personnel announced in an interview with this Hebrew newspaper that the cabinet is sending our army to the battlefield in Gaza, while tens of thousands of ultra-Haredis are exempt from military service.

The soldiers said: “The Israeli cabinet is powerless and weak against the pressure of the rabbis and Haredi politicians, and this discrimination places an increasing burden on the army forces. We are also concerned that the continuation of this war without a real goal and solution will gradually wear us down to the point of collapse, and we call for a comprehensive review of current policies.”

A Zionist soldier currently participating in the Gaza war also warned of the collapse of the army due to the policy of attrition being pursued by the Netanyahu cabinet.
