Israeli army reservist commits suicide after returning from Gaza.

According to the Times of Israel and Haaretz, the officer, named “Nehora Rafael Barzani,” suffered from severe war shock after serving on the Gaza front.

Barzani’s family stressed that he had undergone a “complete transformation” since the events of October 7, 2023 (15 Mehr 1402 AH) and was struggling with constant nightmares, feelings of guilt, and isolation.

The Zionist media also noted that the officer’s close friend had also attempted suicide two months ago, after returning from Gaza.

In his latest posts on social media, Barzani spoke of the “invisible wounds of war” and “forgotten soldiers” who had been abandoned by the Israeli army.

This is the second suicide of an Israeli soldier in the past three or four days.

The Zionist newspaper Haaretz reported on Thursday that an officer from the Gaffaati Brigade ended his life after struggling with the psychological pressures of participating in the Israeli army’s operations in the Gaza Strip.

Before committing suicide, the Zionist officer, named “Thomas,” wrote in a note: “I can’t anymore, I am in a state of devastation and confusion, I have done things that are unforgivable, I can’t live with these thoughts, since October 7th (15th Mehr 1402), a demon has been chasing me inside, I hope you forget me.”

According to IRNA, after two years of genocidal war in the Gaza Strip and in the shadow of the psychological crisis of the Israeli military, the phenomenon of suicide has also spread, while the regime’s security establishment is heavily covering up and censoring this issue.

It seems that the data published in this regard is only part of the multifaceted crisis, and the military establishment is hiding a large part of this crisis from the public mind.
