Israeli Defense Minister criticizes Erdogan.
According to Russia Today, Katz wrote in two posts published in Turkish and Hebrew on his X social media account to the Turkish president: “Erdogan, take your ridiculous arrest warrants and get lost. These warrants are more appropriate for the crime you committed against the Kurds. Israel is strong and is not afraid of anything.”
The Israeli defense minister also referred to Tel Aviv’s opposition to the participation of Turkish forces in the International Stabilization Force in Gaza and said: “You can only see Gaza from behind a camera.”
The Istanbul prosecutor’s office issued an arrest warrant on Friday for 37 suspects accused of involvement in the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, and the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, are among these individuals.
These individuals have been banned from entering Turkish territory and from flying through Turkish airspace.
According to IRNA, on November 21, 2024 (1 Azar 1403), the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and former Israeli Minister of War Yoav Gallant on charges of committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and using starvation as a weapon against the people of Gaza.
Following this ruling, the Israeli regime also requested the court to reconsider the arrest warrant for the regime’s ousted Prime Minister and Minister of War.
