Israeli Defense Minister: We will pressure Hamas to accept our conditions.

The Israeli Channel 12 TV reported today (Saturday) that ceasefire talks between Hamas and the Israeli regime have resumed in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

According to the report, an Israeli source announced that the Hamas and Israeli negotiating teams have resumed serious negotiations for a ceasefire and prisoner exchange.

This comes at a time when Israeli news sources reported on the regime’s army operation known as “Gideon’s Chariots” in the Gaza Strip and announced that the Israeli military, in addition to the heavy bombardment of Gaza, has launched extensive ground movements in the area.

In this regard, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed that the Hamas negotiating team has returned to the negotiating table in Doha due to the start of Operation Gideon’s Chariots and the escalation of the war in Gaza. He said: “The Israeli army will expand the ground operation in Gaza if Hamas refuses to accept the offer of Steve Whittaker, the White House representative for Middle East affairs, for an agreement and the release of prisoners.” He also claimed that with the start of this operation in Gaza, the release of Israeli prisoners from Gaza will be possible.

According to this Zionist media outlet, after the ceasefire negotiations reached a deadlock, the regime’s army, over the past 24 hours, decided to expand ground movements within the framework of the military operation “Gideon’s Chariots”, targeting more than 150 points in Gaza with heavy bombardment.

Palestinian sources reported this morning that in addition to the warning to the residents of Deir al-Balah by the Israeli army’s fighter jets and the distribution of leaflets threatening to evacuate the area, the regime’s army ground forces are advancing from east of Deir al-Balah to the center of the Gaza Strip.
