Israeli delegation heads to Doha to discuss the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a statement after meeting with Steve Witkoff, Trump’s Middle East envoy, that he would send a delegation of Tel Aviv officials to Doha, the capital of Qatar.
He announced that the purpose of sending this delegation is to examine the details of the implementation of the next stages of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
In this regard, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement saying: After Netanyahu met with Witkoff, Israel will send a delegation to Doha, the capital of Qatar, to discuss the technical details of implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office further emphasized that Netanyahu will hold a cabinet meeting after returning from Washington to review the status of the implementation of the second stage of the ceasefire agreement.
