Israeli forces once again invaded Syrian territory.

Israeli forces once again invaded Syrian territory.

The official Syrian news agency (SANA) reported that forces affiliated with the Israeli army infiltrated several points in the southern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria this morning (Tuesday).

These military movements were accompanied by the establishment of a temporary checkpoint and the simultaneous flight of military drones over the area.

According to the report, an Israeli military unit consisting of two Hummer vehicles and two Hilux vehicles moved from the West Tel al-Ahmar area towards the village of Ain al-Zawiwan and established a temporary checkpoint on the way between this village and the town of Kodna.

SANA also announced that this infiltration coincided with the advance of another military column consisting of about 100 Israeli soldiers who moved from West Tel al-Ahmar towards East Tel al-Ahmar.

These movements were carried out while Israeli reconnaissance drones were simultaneously flying in the sky over the area.

Further details about the objectives of this infiltration and the duration of the deployment of Israeli forces in the area have not been released.

In recent weeks and months, the Israeli military offensive in southern Syria, especially in the Quneitra region, has become an almost daily occurrence, often accompanied by the arrest of citizens and the establishment of checkpoints, which has increased public discontent and anger among residents.

While the current Syrian government insists that it poses no threat to Tel Aviv, the Israeli army repeatedly enters Syrian territory and has simultaneously carried out numerous airstrikes that have killed civilians and destroyed Syrian military centers, equipment, and warehouses.

After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime on December 8, 2024, the Israeli regime announced the collapse of the Separation of Forces Agreement between Syria and Israel, which was signed in 1974.

In contrast, Damascus has repeatedly called for an end to the regime’s aggression and violations of its national sovereignty.

Syrian citizens emphasize that the continuation of these violations poses a serious obstacle to the process of returning stability to the country.
