Israeli generals in Syria’s Golan Heights/Why are Turkish systems and fighter jets inactive?

Israeli generals in Syria’s Golan Heights/Why are Turkish systems and fighter jets inactive?

Citing Rai al-Youm, Atwan wrote, referring to the wandering of General Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, at the head of a military delegation including General Uri Gordin, the commander of the northern region of the regime’s army, in the occupied areas of Jabal al-Sheikh and the Ha’il region in Syria: The fact that Zamir entered Jabal al-Sheikh and the Ha’il region without any resistance means that the new Syria is without sovereignty and awe and is completely surrendered to the situation that the occupying regime has imposed by force.

He added: Southern Syria is rapidly becoming another Golan, and the Israeli occupation has become permanent and not temporary. Benjamin Netanyahu expressed this fact a few days ago, saying that “the control of Israeli forces over southern Syria will continue for an indefinite period.”

The analyst, referring to Turkey’s lack of response to the attacks and actions of the Zionist regime, continued: “Israeli fighter jets carried out more than 200 attacks on military airports in northern Syria bordering Turkey and in the Homs suburbs and other bases in Hama and Aleppo, destroying them, hours after the Turkish military delegation’s visit. These attacks aimed to prevent Turkey from strengthening its military foothold in Syria, but no fighter jets or Ankara’s missile defense system were activated to counter them.

Atwan emphasized: “The occupying regime is slowly swallowing Syrian lands and is confident that there is no danger to it. If the current theory that Turkey and Israel are competing to seize the Syrian heritage is true, all evidence indicates that the regime will win this competition.”

The editor of Rai al-Youm wrote: “Syria is a failed and defeated state at the moment, and there is no sign on the horizon that this situation will change in the future.” Resistance against occupiers, especially Zionist occupiers, is the most accurate tool for measuring national sovereignty and understanding the future. In the absence of this military or even verbal resistance, the picture of the future seems very bleak and not optimistic.
