Israeli Government’s Anger Over Oscar Award to Specific Film.
According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli Minister of Culture, in response to the awarding of the Oscar to the documentary film “No Other Land”, said: “The winners of this award have presented a false narrative of Israel!”
He stated: “The awarding of the Oscar to this film is a sad moment for cinema.”
The Israeli Minister claimed that the narrators of the film did not tell the truth about the Israeli regime.
The film “No Other Land”, which is about the alliance between a Palestinian activist and a Zionist journalist formed in the conflicts in the West Bank, won the Oscar for documentary film.
The film shows Israeli soldiers demolishing Palestinian homes and evicting their residents to create a military training zone.
