Israeli laser defense system “Iron Beam” hacked.
The hacking group, which calls itself the Cyber Support Front, has released a video that they say details the intrusion into the Israeli military company Maya.
Quds Press reported that the video shows images of the Israeli military’s military products, including the Skylark spy drone, the Spider air defense system, the Icebreaker stealth cruise missile, and other advanced weapons, all designed and manufactured with world-class technologies.
The documents also include images of joint contracts between the Israeli military and Australia and several European countries. The video also shows details of the hacker intrusion, but Israeli officials have not yet responded to it.
The Iron Beam system is a laser-guided air defense system of the Israeli regime that was unveiled on February 11, 2014, and entered service with the army on August 17, 2020.
The system is designed to destroy short-range rockets and mortars, and its range extends up to 7 kilometers (4.3 miles), which is very close to the range of the Iron Dome system for intercepting projectiles.
