He wrote: “The deadly attack by Hamas on October 7 deeply shook the country due to the gross failures that were revealed in the intelligence community in the Israeli army’s defense concept and the army’s appeasement in helping the settlers around Gaza, to the point where, unprecedentedly, everyone unanimously demanded a strong military response to Hamas.
“Amos Hareil” then discussed the results of this war and wrote that the occupation of the northern part of Gaza and the movement towards the center and south of it “caused a lot of damage to Hamas” and at the same time caused great suffering and hardship for all the residents of Gaza.
This Israeli military analyst emphasized: “In the light of the current situation, it seems that the army will not be able to achieve anything in the future, it is also difficult to hide this fact, because the army is in the middle of reducing its forces in Gaza to enter a new phase of the war, and that is something that the government of Netanyahu is trying to hide from the people.”
While nearly 100 days have passed since the war in Gaza, the spokesperson of the Israeli army has admitted that more than 500 Israelis have been killed so far, but has never announced the official and real number of wounded.
