The Israeli media have not published further details about the clash between the regime’s police and the families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

Earlier, on Monday night, Israeli media reported clashes between Israeli police forces and Zionist demonstrators near the Knesset (Israeli parliament).

On Monday night, the Zionists held a demonstration in Jerusalem, calling for an end to the war against Gaza and a comprehensive agreement with Hamas on the exchange of prisoners.

On Sunday night, thousands of people took to the streets in Tel Aviv to protest the performance of the Netanyahu cabinet in the prisoner exchange case, demanding the implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement and opposing efforts to remove the Shin Bet chief and the government’s legal advisor.

Since the beginning of Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa on October 7, 2023, the Zionist masses, especially the families of Zionist prisoners, as well as the political and security circles of the Zionist regime, have held Netanyahu and his ruling coalition responsible for the regime’s surprise in the face of Palestinian resistance and the occurrence of this operation, and have criticized Netanyahu’s performance in managing the war.

Since the beginning of Operation Storm Al-Aqsa, families of Zionist prisoners and settlers have repeatedly demonstrated against the cabinet’s policies, leading to clashes with the police and the arrest of a number of them. They have emphasized that the Zionist regime’s cabinet ignores the fate of its relatives captured by the Palestinian resistance and that they are not a priority in the cabinet’s decision-making.
