PNN – The Israeli president, while emphasizing the need to form a fact-finding committee regarding the events of October 7th and acknowledging the lack of manpower in the regime’s army, emphasized that the head of the Shin Bet suffered a major defeat on October 7th.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Isaac Herzog, the new president of the Zionist regime, claimed: We must return the prisoners from Gaza by any means. The army must be free from disputes and divisions.
He said: Political division in Israel is leading to violent and dangerous incidents and must be stopped before it is too late. Ignoring the Supreme Court’s ruling is a red line.
Herzog said: The head of the Shin Bet suffered a crushing defeat on October 7. The disagreement between the cabinet and the Shin Bet has necessitated the formation of a formal committee of inquiry into the events of October 7.
He acknowledged: There is a great burden of caution on the military, and there is a clear shortage of troops that must be addressed by recruiting from among the Haredi.

Let’s not fool ourselves; war does not solve all challenges.
Regarding Iran, the Israeli president also claimed: We must cooperate with Washington to ensure that any agreement with Iran prevents Tehran from achieving nuclear capability.
Since the beginning of the Gaza Strip War on October 7, 2023, and the unprecedented Operation “Al-Aqsa Storm” carried out by the Palestinian resistance forces in a surprising manner, the Israeli army has faced a series of heavy and costly blows; blows that have left profound effects on the Israeli army both on the field level and on the psychological and strategic level.
In the first days of the war, more than 1,200 Zionists were killed and hundreds were captured; an event that, according to many observers, is considered the most unprecedented intelligence and security failure of the occupying regime since its establishment.
Afterwards, in the extensive ground operations that the Israeli army launched to free prisoners and suppress the resistance, the Palestinian resistance inflicted heavy losses on Israeli military units through irregular warfare tactics, the use of complex tunnels, precise ambushes, and planned explosions.
During more than a year and a half of the war, Zionist sources have acknowledged the killing of hundreds of army soldiers, while unofficial statistics indicate higher casualties and thousands of injuries among the regime’s combat forces.
The Palestinian resistance also succeeded in destroying or capturing dozens of Merkava tanks, armored personnel carriers, drones, and advanced reconnaissance systems of the Israeli army.
Now, after more than 18 months, many observers believe that the Palestinian resistance, despite widespread destruction and human losses, has managed to change the equations of the battle and trap the Israeli army in an attrition and costly war in which there is no clear prospect of victory.
