Israeli prisoner’s message praising Qassam fighters after release.
According to Shahab News, “Kate Segal”, a Zionist prisoner with American citizenship who was released by the Qassam Brigades yesterday, praised the Palestinian resistance fighters in a message for their respectful and ethical treatment.
In a message addressed to the Qassam Mujahideen, she wrote:
My name is Kate Segal and I am from the Kaffar region of Gaza. I was imprisoned in Gaza from October 7, 2023, to January 2025.
The fighters who protected me during this time provided for all my needs, including food, drink, medicine, necessary vitamins, vision medications, a blood pressure measuring device, and other needs.
Also, when I was not feeling well for a long time, they brought me a doctor. The guards responded to my requests about food and related problems and other issues.
They also made sure that my food was to my health conditions and was vegetarian. The guards treated me well.
I believe that our government did not do its duty to reach an agreement to exchange prisoners and end the war, which resulted in many casualties and additional losses for both sides.
I hope that peace will be established soon and here I would like to thank the fighters who protected me during this time.
