Israeli security circles: A ceasefire must be declared immediately in the Gaza Strip.
According to Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Aharonot reported, citing Israeli security circles, that all sides are seeking to achieve a ceasefire before Trump enters the White House.
The report continued: Israeli security circles support an immediate full or partial ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Yedioth Aharonot also acknowledged, citing sources in the Israeli army and the Shin Bet, that Hamas could still rule the Gaza Strip.
This is even though Israeli officials had promised to destroy Hamas and the resistance forces in Gaza more than a year ago.
