Israeli TV: Netanyahu’s war cabinet doesn’t have much longevity.
Senior ministers of Israel’s war cabinet have said that due to recent disagreements among military and security officials, this cabinet doesn’t have much longevity.

The “Israeli Radio and Television Organization” referred to the conflicts that have arisen among the members of the “Benjamin Netanyahu” war cabinet, quoting some senior regime ministers as writing that this cabinet does not have much permanence.

Yesterday, Israeli media reported a severe dispute between several members of Netanyahu’s cabinet and “Hertzi Halavi”, the head of the Israeli army’s Joint Chiefs of Staff. Reports indicate that the ministers shouted at each other and Halavi so much during that session that Netanyahu was forced to prematurely end the cabinet meeting.

Halavi had recently announced that he had decided to appoint a team to investigate the October 7 attack. This issue led to a severe dispute among the ministers.

Some of the ministers criticized Halavi for this decision, and others defended him to the point that their cries drew them into conflict with each other.

Hebrew-language media have reported that Netanyahu did not intervene to defend Halavi. Benny Gantz, one of the members of the war cabinet, criticized Netanyahu today for allowing right-wing ministers to repeatedly attack Halevi.

The Israeli Radio and Television Organization reported, citing some sources, that the attack on Hertzi Halavi was carried out with Netanyahu’s coordination.

It was planned that the members of the cabinet would negotiate plans for the future of Gaza after the end of the war in the security cabinet session held last night. This session was supposed to be the first security cabinet session on this issue since October 7.
