Israeli War Minister: Destroying Hamas is not easy.

Israeli War Minister: Destroying Hamas is not easy.
After meeting with the National Security Adviser of the White House, Israel’s Minister of War said that it is not easy to destroy Hamas.

The Ministry of War of the Zionist regime stated in a statement that Yoav Gallant, the Minister of War of this regime, in a conversation with Jake Sullivan, the National Security Adviser of the White House, while acknowledging that it is not easy to destroy Hamas, told him that the war against Hamas in Gaza is “more than It will last for several months.

Before this, Israeli media reported that “Jake Sullivan”, the national security advisor of the White House, who traveled to occupied Palestine, met with “Benjamin Netanyahu”, the Prime Minister of Israel, and his security cabinet.

Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that nothing will stop Israel despite increasing international warnings about the increase in civilian casualties in Gaza.

According to the report of the NBC news website, Netanyahu, in a statement on Wednesday evening in a gathering of Israeli soldiers, claimed that the Israeli army will continue the war until a decisive victory is achieved.

Netanyahu said: “We will continue working until the end; As long as we win, nothing less. Nothing will stop us. “I say this despite the great suffering and also despite the international pressure.”

According to CNN, Gallant said on Thursday: “Hamas is a terrorist organization that has strengthened itself over the past decade to fight Israel. “They have started to build underground and above-ground organizations and it is not easy to destroy them.”

Gallant continued, “It will take time to do, and it will take more than several months, but we will win and we will destroy them.”

In another part of his speech, the Minister of War of Israel thanked Jake Sullivan for the American support for Israel’s military operations in Gaza and said: “The United States and Israel pursue common interests and common values in this war, and we have common goals.”

Before that, US President Joe Biden, in a rare criticism of Israel, said that Netanyahu’s cabinet should be changed. Biden also said that international support for Israel’s military operations in Gaza is declining.

Despite this, Biden’s comments did not mean practical action to end the war that has killed thousands of civilians in Gaza.

On Tuesday, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. America was one of the few countries that voted against this resolution. The US government previously vetoed another resolution in the Security Council that had a similar goal.

America has been the main supporter of this regime since the beginning of Israel’s military attacks in Gaza and has helped fuel the war by sending weapons and political support.

In the weeks leading up to the war, Joe Biden’s administration, in the face of continued calls for help in establishing a cease-fire in Gaza, said the White House only supported “ceasefires” in Gaza and was not in favor of a cease-fire that could benefit Hamas.

Meanwhile, human rights activists and some politicians of the Democratic Party have repeatedly asked Biden to put pressure on Israel to end the operation that killed thousands of civilians.

On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of the siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.

This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages, and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.

In response to this operation, the Zionist regime launched heavy attacks against Gaza and put this area under complete siege. Despite this, as analysts say, the al-Aqsa storm operation has imposed a major security-political defeat on Israel.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza announced on Thursday that the number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli attacks in Gaza has reached 18,787. 50 thousand and 897 people were injured as a result of these attacks.
