PNN – The Minister of War of Israel said on Thursday evening that the next target of the army’s ground operations of this regime will be Rafah.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Yoav Gallant, Israel’s Minister of War, said that the soldiers of this regime will go to Rafah near the border with Egypt in the continuation of Israel’s ground operations in Gaza.
Thousands of displaced Palestinians have taken refuge in Rafah, and Egypt has also warned about Israel’s attack on this border region.
Gallant claimed in a message on Thursday evening: “The Hamas brigade in Khan Yunis was disbanded, we have completed our mission there and we will continue the operation towards Rafah.”

Thousands of displaced Palestinians who fled to the southern Gaza Strip to avoid the effects of the war are now near or inside Rafah. Many Palestinians were already worried about an Israeli attack on the area because there is nowhere to take refuge outside of the area.
Analysts say Israel’s military operations in Khan Yunis have been devastating and have also targeted two major hospitals in the city.
Last month, the UN agency for humanitarian coordination warned about the population explosion in parts of the Gaza Strip where refugees have taken refuge, including in Rafah.
This organization had announced on January 9 that following the escalation of conflicts in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah and the threat of the Zionist regime to evacuate these cities, at least 100,000 displaced people have entered Rafah in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip.
The Humanitarian Coordination Agency says that Rafah was very compact and dense in terms of population and had 12,000 inhabitants per square kilometer.
