Israel’s ban on the Turkish team’s entry to Gaza.
Israeli sources reported that the Israeli regime intends to prevent a Turkish team specializing in the search for bodies from entering the Gaza Strip.
Two days ago, Steve Bannon, former senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, claimed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will lead a security force in the Gaza Strip, along with forces from Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and possibly Saudi Arabia, despite the public opposition of the Israeli regime.
According to Ma’ariu, Bannon, who does not hold an official position in the Trump administration, but is considered a close and trusted person of the president, described in his podcast a vision of a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip with financing from Qatar. He said that a senior American team, including Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Trump’s representative for West Asia Steve Witkoff, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President J.D. Vance, are directly involved in advancing this plan.
This is while Netanyahu reiterated his opposition to the entry of Turkish forces into the Gaza Strip a few days ago in a meeting with US President Donald Trump’s vice president, JD Vance.
The Israeli Channel 12 television also reported that Netanyahu said in a meeting with Vice President Trump: The presence of Turkish forces in Gaza is Tel Aviv’s red line.
Last week, Erdogan directly ordered the country’s military establishment to dispatch groups of Turkish relief and technical forces to the Gaza Strip. The mission of these forces is stated to include removing bodies and people trapped under rubble, distributing humanitarian aid, and participating in resolving the humanitarian crisis in the region.
