Israel’s new plot to occupy Gaza has also drawn the attention of Britain and Australia.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has strongly criticized the Israeli regime’s decision to further expand its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

He said: “Israel’s decision to further escalate its aggression in Gaza is wrong. We call on them to reconsider this decision immediately. This action will not end the conflict and will only lead to more bloodshed.”

The British Prime Minister called on Tel Aviv and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to participate in the negotiations in good faith, saying: “The humanitarian crisis in the region is getting worse every day. What we need is a ceasefire, increased humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages and a negotiated solution.”

Australia has also warned Israel about military control of the Gaza Strip. Foreign Minister Penny Wang said: “Such a move will only exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe. Forced and permanent displacement violates international law. The two-state solution is the only way to lasting peace.”
