Israel’s recognition of “Somaliland” and looming dangers in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Quoted from Rai Al-Youm, Atwan wrote: Is the recognition of Somaliland by Israel an official action in line with the plan to disintegrate the Arab countries? What are Israel’s goals in this action? Why are Egypt and Saudi Arabia its biggest losers?

He added: The recognition of Somaliland by the occupying regime and the establishment of diplomatic relations with it is an emphasis on the policy of disintegration and disintegration that this regime is implementing in the region and is a dangerous threat to the territorial integrity of the countries of the region and their national security, especially the countries overlooking the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa from Saudi Arabia and Sudan, Egypt and Yemen to Jordan in its northernmost part.

The analyst stated: This sudden recognition in line with the disintegration of the Muslim country of Somalia is not unaccountable, especially since Israel is known for blackmailing and not giving concessions, and its geopolitical ambitions are based on not giving concessions and getting too many concessions, material, political and military.

Atwan explained: The Israeli occupation regime is seeking to achieve numerous military and strategic gains that will end up to the detriment of the Arabs, Muslims and African brothers, which can be summarized in the following points:

First, Israel’s plan to relocate hundreds of thousands of Gaza residents to Somaliland. In this regard, the cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held early secret consultations with the separatist leader of Somaliland, and leaked news indicates that the plan to relocate Gaza residents by air and sea is ready for implementation.

Second, the occupation regime’s attempt to penetrate and establish a military presence in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden, and to establish military bases to control the Arabian Sea, the Red Sea, and the West Bank islands to confront Yemen, which has become a front of resistance against the Israeli occupiers, and Israeli attacks to stop supersonic missile attacks on Ben Gurion Airport in Jaffa or Ramon in the Negev failed, and millions of people took refuge in fear of these missiles every day for two years.

Third, securing Israel’s maritime trade routes to Asia and East Africa, which account for 85 percent of its exports, has been completely halted due to the closure of the Red Sea to Israeli commercial and military ships by Yemeni forces and missiles in solidarity with the Mujahideen in Gaza.

Fourth: Israel’s control of the Suez Canal and blackmailing of Egyptian officials, and ensuring the protection of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam through its military presence in the heart of the Horn of Africa, namely in the military bases that were agreed to be established in exchange for recognition.

Fifth: Threatening all oil exports of Arab countries, whether those coming through the Strait of Hormuz or those coming from the ports of the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Yemen.

Atwan added: Two Arab countries are under threat from this hostile Israeli step and its penetration into the southern Red Sea through Somaliland, and these two are Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The strategic national security of these two countries is directly at risk from Israel, and unfortunately, they have limited themselves to condemnation and expression of disgust.
