PNN – Referring to the targeting of journalists by the occupying army in the Gaza Strip, the Center for the Support of Palestinian Journalists called for the pressure of the international community to stop this process.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian news agency Sama, the Center for the Support of Palestinian Journalists announced in a statement: We condemn the continued attacks of the Israeli regime and the killing of journalists in the Gaza Strip, the last of whom were “Saadi Maddukh” and “Ahmad Sekar”. These attacks happened just one day after the martyrdom of “Al-Quds Al-Youm” reporter “Mohammed Al-Sakni”.
This center added: The successive crimes of the Israeli regime in targeting journalists show that the decision to commit these crimes was made at the highest levels of the Israeli regime, and its purpose is an obvious attempt to hide the facts and prevent further revelations of Tel Aviv’s killings against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

The Center for the Support of Palestinian Journalists stressed: The repeated series of targeting Palestinian journalists by the Israeli regime must be stopped. These crimes are considered the bloodiest crimes in modern history. Attacking journalists is considered a war crime and a violation of international law, as well as resolutions No. 1738 approved in 2006 and 2222 approved in 2015.
In the end, this center calls for an independent and comprehensive international investigation into the continuous crimes committed by the Zionist regime against journalists in the Gaza Strip, and to take immediate measures to punish the perpetrators and those involved in these crimes, pay compensation to the victims, and apply pressure to end the direct targeting and killing.
The Center for the Support of Palestinian Journalists also called for support for the activities of journalists and for them to be able to fulfill their mission and reflect the reality.
Reports show that since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s war against the Gaza Strip, more than 150 journalists have been targeted by the occupation forces and have been martyred.
