In a report about the possibility of the destruction of the Hamas movement, the German newspaper Der Spiegel emphasized that such a scenario is impossible considering the strength of this movement and its popular popularity.
Although the Israeli army has turned the Gaza Strip into a ruin in the last two months, this newspaper quoted an analyst of the resistance and Hamas as saying: The idea that Israel is capable of defeating Hamas or destroying it through military means is an idea. It is unrealistic and the ideology of Hamas will appear in another movement.
Der Spiegel quoted an Israeli military analyst as saying that it is impossible to destroy Hamas, because Hamas is not just an organization, but a power that is rooted in society, and its thoughts and ideas are embedded in the hearts and minds of people, and interaction with this issue It is comparable to the cleanup of Germany after the war, meaning that such an operation would take decades.
This newspaper predicted that Hamas would end this war and would be somewhat weakened militarily, but would gain more strength strategically.
On the other hand, “Khalil al-Hiya”, the vice-chairman of the political office of Hamas in Gaza, said: “The resistance has confronted the occupiers and inflicted heavy blows on their forces and military equipment.” The resistance is stable and able to deal harder blows to the enemy.
Al-Hiya continued: “The war and crimes must stop, then the exchange of prisoners and aid to the people of Gaza will be negotiated.” As soon as the war stops, we are ready for a comprehensive agreement for the exchange of prisoners. It is not wise and logical to sign a prisoner exchange agreement under the fire of the criminal enemy. The enemy stops his crimes and withdraws from Gaza, then we are ready to exchange prisoners. Hamas will not give in to the pressure and threats of the enemy under any circumstances.
He clarified: that 100 trucks entering Gaza daily is not enough to help the people of this strip. The enemy will not have peace in any part of Gaza, Khan Yunis, North, or any other region. Resistance is the ability and possibilities of encounter that can be sustained and resisted for days, weeks, and months. We assure our ummah and nation that the resistance is stable and in good condition.
This senior Hamas official noted: The Palestinian nation is unyielding and remains stable in its land and supports the resistance. We will continue to defend this land until its liberation and our sanctuaries. What is important now is to stop this war and insane crimes.
Al-Hiya emphasized: It is clear that we are looking for the unity and integrity of the Palestinian nation in Gaza and the West Bank. The day after the war in Gaza is the day of victory, and anyone who thinks of the destruction of Hamas is completely delusional. Our goal is to stop the war, then we will move on to the reconstruction of Gaza, and then we will talk about the prisoners.
