Al-Badawi

PNN – The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jassem Al-Badawi said that the member states of the council have announced that they will not participate in any military action in Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassem Al-Badawi, said: The countries of this council have announced that they will not participate in any military action in Iran.

He continued: These countries have emphasized that they will not be parties to this conflict against Iran and have also informed Tehran of this.

Al-Badawi emphasized: We emphasize that the wisest and most effective option is diplomacy and politics.

According to Al Jazeera, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council added: We have never tried to destroy or weaken Iran. Rather, we have tried to achieve relations based on mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of countries.

The statements of the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the non-participation of these countries in the war against Iran come at a time when military action has repeatedly been taken from the land and sky of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, etc., contrary to international standards.

The Persian Gulf countries have practically become a threat to regional security by placing American military bases on their territory.

Before the joint US and Israeli attacks on Iran began on February 28, the leaders of these countries had assured our country’s officials that no action would be taken against Iran from their soil, but not only was military action taken, but they also claim that Iran should not respond to these moves.

At the same time, Iran has declared that any location from which action is taken against Iran is a legitimate target for Iran’s self-defense.
