PNN – A Washington-based investigative media outlet has revealed that the security system installed in a Manhattan apartment linked to Jeffrey Epstein, the controversial American financier accused of sex crimes, was set up under the supervision of Israeli authorities.
The investigative website Dropsight News reported in a report that, based on newly released emails from the US Department of Justice, the security equipment in question was installed in early 2016 at a property located at 301 East 66th Street in Manhattan. According to the media outlet, the building was used by several people associated with Epstein.
The report states that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak was among those who frequently stayed at the property. Also, according to the published emails, Epstein personally approved the installation of the security system and authorized meetings between his staff and Israeli security officials.
Dropsite News also reported that some units in the building were regularly rented out to people associated with Epstein and were used to house underage models.
Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of running a vast underage sex trafficking ring, died in 2019 while awaiting trial in a New York prison. His death was officially ruled a suicide.
In late January of this year, the US Department of Justice released millions of pages of documents, videos, and images related to this case under a legal framework called the “Epstein Files Transparency Act.”
