Jerusalem Post: The Israeli army is investigating the change of strategy in the Gaza war

PNN – A Zionist newspaper reported this Wednesday that the army of this regime is investigating the change of strategy in the Gaza war.

According to the International group of Fars news agency, while the operation of the Israeli army in Gaza has not been successful in achieving its goals, a Zionist newspaper reported today that the army is considering changing its strategies in the war.

The Jerusalem Post newspaper wrote various reports indicating that the Israeli army is considering changes in the strategy in Gaza and is going to move towards more targeted operations in Gaza or new stages in the war.

This newspaper, written about the Gaza war, has gone through several stages so far. Israel’s initial response to the October 7 attacks included airstrikes on various areas in Gaza. This operation entered the ground attack phase in the second phase in November.

After that, the war entered a week-long hiatus and resumed in December with the Israeli military’s operation in southern Gaza and an attempt to control the northern area.

The Jerusalem Post newspaper wrote that although the war has gone through various stages so far, there are various questions about the new stage of the war and what the targeted operation of the Israeli army will look like.

This report was published in a situation where the New York Times today, in an analysis written by one of the newspaper’s senior analysts on West Asian issues, wrote that doubts about Israel’s ability to destroy Hamas have intensified.

“Neil McFargohar”, whom the New York Times introduces as one of the veteran analysts and writers of this newspaper and other American media in the field of West Asian issues, wrote in this analysis, citing experts, that there is no sign of the decline of the military and political power of Hamas.

On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.

This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.

In response to this operation, the Zionist regime launched heavy attacks against Gaza and put this area under complete siege. Despite this, as analysts say, the al-Aqsa storm operation has imposed a major security-political defeat on Israel.

The authorities of the Israeli regime have declared their military goal in this war to destroy Hamas. Meanwhile, many analysts have questioned the possibility of realizing this goal, even in occupied Palestine.

For example, “Ehud Olmert”, the former prime minister of the Zionist regime, wrote in a note in Haaretz newspaper a few days ago that Netanyahu himself knows that he is not able to eliminate Hamas.

The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, has survived repeated attempts by the Israeli regime to eliminate itself since its inception.

Experts in military and political issues say that the structure of this organization is designed in such a way that it has the ability to resist conspiracies to destroy itself.

In an interview with the New York Times, Giora Eiland, a former Israeli officer who previously headed Israel’s Internal Security Council, said that Hamas has shown that it has the ability to immediately replace its dead commanders with others who are equally capable.
