PNN – Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is dragging the Middle East into a regional war to save his political future.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Russian Sputnik news agency, in a message on his user account on X social media (former Twitter), Al-Safadi wrote: If the tensions are not stopped, its dangerous increase in the region will lead to more comprehensive and destructive confrontations.
He emphasized that the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza are pushing the region towards a regional war, and the immediate cessation of this aggression will lower the flame of the growing tension.
The Jordanian foreign minister added: Netanyahu seeks to implement his racist ideology, which is manifested in the killing, destruction, war crimes in Gaza and the continuous violation of international laws and human rights and aggressive crimes in the occupied West Bank and the region.

Lapid: Netanyahu should agree even in case of political damage
Al-Safadi said that if the international community wants to prevent the escalation of tensions, it should end the aggression against Gaza by activating the role of the Security Council in maintaining peace and security and imposing sanctions against the Zionist regime.
He added: Jordan stands by Lebanon, its security and sovereignty and emphasizes the need to adhere to Security Council Resolution No. 1701.
Jordan’s foreign minister also emphasized the support for negotiations between Hamas and the Zionist regime, mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States, to reach an agreement that would lead to a permanent ceasefire and an end to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
After more than 10 months of the Zionist regime’s war against the Gaza Strip, intense clashes between the soldiers of the occupying Israeli regime and the resistance fighters are going on in different areas of this strip.
This war, which the Zionist regime launched with the two declared goals of destroying the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners on October 7, 2203, has not yet achieved its goals.
In this regard, the Zionist regime’s media, referring to the progress of the war against the Gaza Strip and the casualties of the Zionist regime’s soldiers, have acknowledged that the promises made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the past 11 months about winning the war and destroying Hamas were empty and demagogic.
